Buy anything from me, with confidence, wherever you live on the planet.
That’s as easy as it sounds. If you see an ‘Add to Cart’ button then your shipping will be calculated at the checkout – all standard stuff. You can check the cost before you buy.
For the other artworks that don’t have an ‘Add To Cart’ button then buying is simply a matter of browsing my selection of original paintings for sale (including my Half price Offers) and deciding if there’s something you really like. I understand if you’re hesitant at spending a large sum of money for a painting that’s not even in the same country as you but please be assured that I am a registered UK business and work very hard to build my reputation for outstanding art and a very personal service so I conduct myself with great care and integrity.
I work with you – personally – by mail, WhatsApp, or the good old fashioned telephone. I’ll even walk you round a painting or my Art Gallery via FaceTime. If you send me a photograph I’m happy to Photoshop some paintings into your own space so you can get an idea what something is going to look like – all without any obligation.
If a painting isn’t right for you I will tell you. I’m an honest guy. It’s what I do. The art always comes first, everything else comes second.
If you like something I’ll cost up the shipping for you and give you a price. Typically I can do that within an hour or two.
Generally speaking this is the best way to ship my art. All of my paintings can be sent ready-stretched (EXACTLY AS YOU SEE IN THE PHOTOS AND READY TO HANG UPON RECEIPT) in which case all we need is a great big crate to put them in. These are built to order.
This is my preferred method of shipping art overseas. It’s safe, easy and means you only have to open the crate then hang it on the wall when you’ve received it. It really is as simple as that.
Crating full-sized paintings can be expensive though so please ask me for a cost if one of them catches your eye. If you’ve fallen in love with something let’s talk and I’ll do my best to get the costs down wherever I can. But I say again, it’s not cheap to do this.
Your painting gets packed into a custom-made wooden crate (made to International ISPM15 standards for customs clearance).
At the point of sending I will ask for the agreed price to be paid (which is made up of the cost of the painting plus shipping charges).
A bank (IBAN or BACS) transfer is my preferred method of payment and will be requested prior to shipping. I do not accept Western Union, NoChex or other wire transfer services but PayPal is also fine as are all major credit cards. Sorry I don’t take magic beans anymore.
Once the money is received I will ship with a specialist courier network and provide tracking information taken from the waybill/shipping manifest. Depending on your country the delivery time is normally around 5 days allowing for clearance through customs*
*Customs in your country may charge import duty or a handling fee; this is not covered by me and you may be liable for it. Please check beforehand.
Unpack the crate (a screwdriver will be required), remove the foam wrappers and you’re done.
All my paintings hang on just two screws from the centre cross-bar. That’s it. I don’t use any complicated hanging systems or cords and I will guide you through this straightforward process before you get your crate.
Once you’re happy with everything I will issue a Certificate of Authenticity (which carries my signature, the name and a photograph of the painting) plus a Valuation Certificate. This will be sent to you by AirMail.
You will need to recycle your crate as I don’t take them back (it would be way too expensive to ship them all the way back to the UK).
I’m here to help you make the right decision about buying one of my paintings
