Do you sell prints?
Yes! At long last, I do! I will only offer a strictly limited number of each (5) so they really are pretty exclusive. You can find the latest Limited Edition Prints here.
Each are printed onto the back of a 5mm thick transparent acrylic sheet, then a black film is applied behind it. This adds an extra dimension to as well as a gloss finish for a premium look. All my exclusive prints come ready to hang with a wall mount attached and will hang in portrait orientation.
Additionally it has become a necessity (with a growing audience) to offer a limited range of associated merchandise.
I’m trying to do this carefully and with quality uppermost in my mind. So you can head over to the Swarez Merchandise Store and check out the current range of goodies if you want to own something beautiful and vibrant but don’t want to break the bank in the process!

How do I buy one of your paintings?
Complete a short enquiry form from any page featuring any piece of art for sale or drop me an email, or call me and tell me what you like. We’ll grab a date for you to either come to the Gallery and view or for me to bring them to you. If you end up falling in love with something once we’ve tried them out on your walls you can then pay for it. All payment cards are accepted as well as BACS transfer. Very painless.
Do you deliver paintings personally and can I see before I buy?
Yes you can. I love to meet the people who buy my work and it also gets me out of the studio. To be honest it’s the only way to see what it looks like on your wall before you buy it. You only pay for something when it’s hanging on the wall (UK only). This page on buying my art will help clear things up.
What if I live outside the UK?
For EU member countries I will deliver free wherever I can, but there may some shipping charges involved. For the US and Rest of World there will be freight charges; drop me a mail to ask in the first instance. You can also read this helpful page on international art shipping.
What happens if I don’t like it after I’ve bought it?
Then I’ll paint something that you do like. If you live with your painting for a while but can’t get on with it I will take it back and replace it with one that you do like at no extra cost. Of course I am also happy to give you a refund.
Why do you paint big?
Because I enjoy it, and there aren’t that many artists working in large format these days. Part of the reason is down to the techniques I use – they can only really be shown off on a large scale. Having said that, if you think owning something over four or five feet wide is a problem then think again – I sell to lots of people who have never had a big one before (?). Once they have big they are hooked. It’s definitely the way forward.
Do you do portraits?
No. I don’t enjoy painting representational or figurative art. I’ve done one but would rather gouge out my eyes with a rusty nail. It was dire. I mean, really bad.
Do you hold exhibitions?
No I don’t I’m afraid. I’m not really an exhibition lover if I’m honest. Time is also such a big thing for me because I never have enough of it. Besides, it’s a lot of hassle to do. Maybe I’ll do one in my own Gallery at some point.
Can I see your work in a Gallery?
Only my own.
No other parties have access to my work. I have a few collectors dotted around the world who are always available for private viewings but they are not available anywhere else except for my own 6000 sqft gallery space in the UK. Grab a flight, I’ll pick you up from the airport and come and see why I am on the verge of something remarkable.
Where have you studied and can I come and see you work?
I’ve never had a day’s tuition in my life. All my work comes from my head. I don’t know many arty words or care for art history. I don’t have my head up my arse or have an over-inflated sense of self importance. I just do my own thing and paint with freedom and without having had all my creativity sucked out of me by an academic foundation course.
I work from an historic Grade II converted mill in the heart of the Cotswolds (UK) where I have built my own permanent gallery (by appointment only). Coffee machine is always on. You can’t watch me work because that’s just weird…
Is Swarez your real name?
No it isn’t. It is a nickname given to me by a very close friend many years ago. I use it because it’s different…I like different. I don’t take anything too seriously I’m afraid. Some people think I am of Uruguayan descent but, like I said, it’s just a nickname. My real name is Ed.
What kind of paints do you use?
Enamels paints. I have them made for me to a recipe that only myself and two other people know. This is one of the many reasons I do what I do with my art – the quality and unique properties of the paints I use. They are actually pretty freakin’ awesome.
