After having watched his work colleague draw this doodle time and time again, my client thought it would be a great idea to get this made into a painting for him – as a surprise gift. I did two variations and ended up sending both! It’s more about fun than a lasting artistic legacy but just goes to show that you really can let your imagination run wild when there are no rules.
There’s nothing easy about creating, sending and installing art on the other side of the world. It requires effort, patience and a great attention to detail. It also needs clients that enjoy what you do and are keen to have a hand in the process – especially where the commissions come in. I love being able to work to a client’s brief and create art that makes them happy and excited. Through a series of canvases, a lot of photos and even more Photoshopping we got to a selection of art that really enhances the clients’ offices and apartment.
