Description
What’s going on here?
Well, an arhcipelago is a geogrpahical term for a grouping of islands, very often in a scattered arrangement.
And though this painting is not a series of randomly scattered shapes and forms it is very much driven by colours and the memories I have from visiting some of the more remote parts of the world where these island groups can be experienced from the air.
The rich greens and clear blues echo the feeling of clear skies and warm oceans to me.
Finishing
The part work is finished with a 2mm mount that’s set inside a laser-cut aluminium frame. This gets covered with a Plexiglass (acrylic) front (a high quality PVC alternative to glass). This can be removed if you wish.
This painting is shipped ready to hang. Worldwide shipping is available – costs are calculated at the checkout before you decide to buy. Any problems, drop me a mail.
