Proxima is a small sized, original abstract painting created with a series of colours of enamel paint (most notably purple and pink). Now, if I said that this was a bit of a stunner would you think I was boasting? Well, perhaps you can reserve judgement on that until you’ve seen the photos. This is, without question in my mind, one of the most engaging, complex and indulgent abstracts I have done for some time – and that’s not something I say lightly.

Not only do you get al the colour mixes and tonal shifts to contend with but you also have a bewildering array of details and effects to marvel at. Rivers and valleys, cells, craters, subtle blends, dramatic turns -there’s something to look at in every millimeter of canvas.

Then there’s the metallic gold… I mean, the list just goes on and on. I don’t think you’ll have any problem hanging this somewhere if you decide to buy it. Seriously tempted to keep it for myself though!
