This is an original, small sized abstract painting made from just five colours. The combination of a fiery red and orange background is the perfect back drop to the cool, black and white layers that have formed over the top.

Phoenix Rising is a painting packed full of stunning details and rich, deep colour. The background was kept liquid whilst I poured the black and white over the top so you get this wonderful morphing of the two. In places you can see the background mixing with the foreground which really helps give the painting depth.

It’s an absolute stunner and perfect to hang in almost any space that needs a shot of drama and colour.
