This is a small sized abstract painting featuring a red and purple (or is it maroon?) background onto which I have poured a series of orange and black paints via a dustpan. Yup, that’s right – a dustpan!

It’s an unusual technique and one i am having fun experimenting with at the moment. It can be used in a variety of ways and in this instance it was coupled with the turning motion of my spin table (albeit on a very slow rotate).

The overall shape is fantastic – looking like a dragon in some places to me. The details are exquisite, the finish is deep, and glossy and it’s the prefect size to fit on almost any wall.
