This original sculpture is formed from two solid billets of aircraft-grade aluminium. After being heated and shaped into ovals they were joined together using two aluminium securing rods that were then TIG welded in place. The joints were then ground away where they met the surface resulting in a smooth, joint free finish.

The finish is a deep candy-apple red with a tiny metallic flake. In some areas the coating is less dense (and gives a mildly silver finish) but this is only to be found near the seams and in the places that were impossible to reach with the spray gun.

Complete with a hand cut and polished off-white stone display plinth and an aftercare accessory kit.
